NEW DELHI: Death Stranding is an open world sci-fi game featuring characters physically modeled on actors Norman Reedus (Daryl Dickson of The Walking Dead), Mads Mikkelsen (Lé Chiffre of Casino Royale) and Léa Seydoux (Spectre, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol). The game is the brainchild of the Japanese game creator Hideo Kojima and developed under his Kojima Productions. In Death Stranding, you play as Sam Porter Bridges (character modelled on Norman Reedus) who is given the task of making deliveries and banding the scattered humans together in the dystopian game world.
The game was one of the biggest launches of 2019.
Here are the minimum and the recommended system requirements your PC needs to have to be able to run the game.
Death Stranding: Minimum system requirements
To just be able to run the game, your PC needs to have Microsoft Windows 10 OS, an Intel Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 processor, 8GB RAM, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 (3GB) or AMD Radeon RX 560 (4GB) graphics card, DirectX 12 and 80GB available disk space. The PC sound card should be DirectX compatible. Also, an AVX instruction set is required.
Death Stranding: Recommended system requirements
The recommended system requirements to play Death Stranding on PC are Windows 10 OS, an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 processor, 8GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 590 graphics card, DirectX 12 and 80GB available disk space. The PC sound card should be DirectX compatible. Also, an AVX instruction set is required.
The PC version of Death Stranding brings with it support for higher frame rates, Photo mode and ultra-wide monitor support. A new difficulty level: Very Hard has been added to the PC version. The game will also feature some content from the Half-Life series.
