General Summary:
The Systems Administrator's primary responsibility is a mix between daily IT support for the Sopheon EU employees and the setup, maintenance and monitoring of Sopheon's Accolade Cloud product, providing Enterprise Innovation Management solutions to some of the biggest and best known companies and brands in the world.

The successful candidate is flexible and willing to adjust to new patterns, shifting work and responsibilities. They must display confidence and competency while handling issues. The candidate must independently manage their own workload and remain accountable, promoting a positive team approach under pressure.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, configure, monitor and maintain the following aspects of Accolade Cloud Hosting
• Microsoft Windows Servers, including IIS
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Sopheon's Accolade application
• Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Virtual Machine Manager virtualization
• Microsoft System Center Suite
• High availability, scalability, and disaster recovery plans
• Security information and event management tools

Provide daily IT support by monitoring, prioritizing and resolving requests for assistance from employees. Tasks will require a broad range of IT skills such as the following
• Deploying and supporting Windows Client PCs
• Administering a mid-size Enterprise Windows environment
• Application administration
• Network administration

Ensure that recurring tasks are completed while also supporting Sopheon Client Services during implementations and updates, resolving cloud issues that are escalated from Sopheon Support, and helping the other team members of Sopheon IT when needed.

Work flexible hours as needed, respond to on-call duties, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays in support of a 24x7 facility.

This position is a part of the Sopheon IT team which supports all computing needs for Sopheon across 6 global offices. This includes operations, on-premises installation services, cloud application hosting services, and all internal computer labs. Our environment is a Microsoft-centric environment where you can progress in skills and certifications. Cross team and cross organization mobility is encouraged.

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT or related discipline

Travel requirement
• Occasional (0-10%) overnight travel expected for this position in the EU and abroad
